Kiki + Gabe Engagement Session

Meet Kiki and Gabe.
We had the honor of taking their engagement pictures about two weeks ago in Coral Gables, Florida and we are so pleased with how they turned out! You can truly sense the love that Gabe & Kiki share. It's the type of love that is pure and kind.
One of the many reasons I love engagement sessions is that we have the opportunity to capture the time in the couple's lives when they are the most "in love". You know what I mean? Those"in love" moments before you learn that he likes the toilet paper placed under, not over like you or how he likes to put the wet towel on the bed after a shower, or that moment before he notices that she takes 2 hours just to shave her legs and wash her hair...those moments. We want couples to look back at their engagement photos and remember the reasons why they fell in love in the first place. To remember that pure and innocent love. During Gabe & Kiki's session that's exactly what was captured.

We are looking forward to what God has in store for this amazing couple with 2 months away from their big day!! Enjoy!

Armando + Yolianne Engagement Session

What a week it has been! Brandon and I just got back from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico for Yolianne and Armando's wedding. It was a beautiful weekend spent celebrating this amazing couple we love so much because they are also family. Yolianne and I are cousins who have been inseparable since the day we were born. And since we're only 8 days apart, we quickly became more like sisters.

For this post, we want to showcase their engagement session that took place in Lakeland, FL earlier this year. The couple wanted to keep them as a surprise to reveal on their big day. We had a blast with this session! Armando is in flight school to become a pilot so we thought it would be cool to take some shots over at the Florida Air Museum here in central FL. He was like a kid all over again! A priceless experience for them both!

Overall, the love was evident at every point of their session. They have been together for 4 years and out of those 4 years, over a year they've spent it long distance. Since Armando is in the Coast Guard, there were many times where their communication was limited and sometimes non-existent for up to a month. Throughout their entire engagement he was stationed in Key West, FL while Yolianne was back in Puerto Rico. All that to say, this couple is living testament that love conquers all and we are so thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture their love story.
Congratulations Armando & Yolianne! We love you both very much!
Stay tuned for the incredible wedding pictures that will be posted soon.

A Little Dream

We are back from our hiatus! Well, I wouldn’t call it a hiatus, it was more of a life intervention due to work, work and more work. We have so much to share and our plan is to catch up with the next few posts. Since January, we took the time to restructure and focus in on what IB is. We have so many ideas and dreams for what IB will become. But for right now, we'll take it all in stride. One step at a time and learning as much as possible along the way. One of the most important factors of our business is the relationship we have with our clients. We're constantly thinking of ways to provide the best experience for them. So for the past few months, aside from the admin and back end stuff we've done, we made it a point to network for new clients and reconnect with previous ones. Our goal has and always will be to create an awesome client experience, and that only happens when quality time is invested on all ends.

With all that being said, I’m sure you remember our very first clients, Allison + Jason. They are in fact the poster children for IB! We are so grateful for this couple because they believed and trusted us with the opportunity to photograph their wedding a year ago. It was then that IB was birthed. We love this couple and now that they are expecting their first baby boy, we are honored they chose IB to capture their new family-to-be of 3! Thank you Jason + Allison for always believing in us, we love you guys!

Take a look, “Little Dream” is ready for his debut!

Location: Key Biscayne in Miami, Florida

Here's to new beginnings friends!

Photos + Video - Andres' 1st | Cowboys, Cowgirls, and Cake

In late November we had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with a couple of our good friends to celebrate Andres. This first birthday had a cowboy/on the farm theme and was complete with pony rides, barns, and farm animals. A really great day for a outdoor party, though a bit on the windy side, as we all noticed during the lighting of the candles lol! One of the main activities, and even a party favor, was of their own creations. Frames were constructed and bags were colored by the guest own hands. As for our hands, I did the filming while Ileana setup shop for photo area where the kids received their 4x6 photo of themselves before they left (shout-out to CVS-lol).

A great celebration that we hopefully captured through photo and video.

Deck The Walls | Holiday Session

Deck the Walls...haha! Just kidding, there are only a few times I can get away with a lame joke.. Anywho, the Walls family are very good friends of Ileana and I. Jameil and I were once roommates, James and myself graduated together with our Broadcast degree and of course did countless Radio and TV productions together (Raw TV!!), and Momma Walls to whom we have grown to love throughout the past couple years though her sons. If you have been following our blog lately you might recognize these faces from an earlier shoot we did this year. These are the brains (the bread and butta') behind The Journey. Its always good to see family support each other the way they do, especially in the ministry they share together.

Merry Christmas Walls family, we at ibcreative love you guys more than you can imagine!
